Afternoon by the river
This was painted early afternoon last summer at a local bathing spot by the river Lot near Cahors in France.
One of my first 'daily paintings' Painted on the 1st of January 2016. I was enjoying the calm of the studio after the chaos of Christmas.
Le bar forum.
A small pastel worked from a table inside a bar in Cahors on a market day morning. The 'patron' could see what I was doing and was very obliging about returning to her pose.
