The old lady painted in watercolours and gouache and shows only a partial section of the painting.this was completed when i was 17 years old. watercolour & gouache on board 45cm x 60cm .

This painting was completed using only 4 colours cadmium red, yellow ochre, ivory black and white. photograph doesnt show some of the detail that illustrates some of the crosshatching painting methods, building layers of individual colours using a glazing technique .oil on canvas 50cmx50cm.

This painting was actually an experimental piece believe it or not where i wanted to produce something big and in detail. this painting being my first out of this intended body of work i wish i had have completed some experimental pieces on a smaller scale.since completing this piece i have progressed so fast after my last two paintings which commenced after this one, otherwise i would have approached this painting so differently. but with lack of patience i just jumped in. hopefully this is the first of many where i get to work on an even larger scale.oil on canvas 60cm x 60cm.
