I painted this when I was 15, around 37 years ago, after a school trip. I tried to remember as much as I could from a painting I had seen on the trip. The original work was by John Wilson Carmichael. The title of the piece was 'HMS 'Victory' Anchored off the Isle of Wight'. It was painted in 1847. This was my result and you can Google the original or visit Portsmouth to see it.
